Hi, my name is Dada Vedaprajinananda but you can just call me Dada Veda.

I am teacher of yoga and meditation and a social worker as well as a singer-songwriter. I have been writing songs for the past five years and in my lyrics I blend spirituality, ecology and social justice themes.

In 2003 I put out the first edition of the CD "Brighter Than the Sun." These songs were remastered in 2006 and are now available here on CD Baby.

What are the songs like? They are simple acoustic-based songs. Some people say I sound like Bob Dylan. I don't think so, but I take that as a huge compliment. At a recent festival someone dubbed this music as "Country and Eastern."
