Darrell Bumgardner is from Gastonia North Carolina. He lives only a few miles from Christmas Town USA (McAdenville ,N.C.)So it was a natural thing for him to do a Christmas CD--The songs he picked are traditional Christmas songs done in his style-Some are instrumentals on The mandolin and banjo and some are sung by Darrell. Darrell's 16 year old grandson (Brent Edwards) played the banjo on this CD.This Christmas CD was a project that Darrell wanted to do with his only Grandson. Something they would have together for many years to come.They had a lot of fun doing the CD, and this shows on the CD. I wrote Christmas in Carolina (CD Title also ) for this CD.
