Being the bands second release, "Personal Favorite Venom" is an improvement on pretty much all fronts. While Double Devil has managed to maintain their style of 80's progressive heavy metal, the overall sound on "Personal Favorite Venom" is much more homogenic, thick and heavy, bringing the recordings several steps up the ladder.
As with their first EP, "Port of Call", the four new tracks were recorded in Double Devil's own Mischief Studio. This time though, the mastering session was taken care of by danish metal producer Jan Borsing, who squeezed the recordings to the best of their potential.

So if you, like Double Devil themselves, are into energetic heavy metal "80's style", "Personal Favorite Venom" is definitely worth your while!
