Desirable sun was born in 1993 when Eric Wolfe(drummer) moved from Los Angeles,CA to Evansville,IN and met Brett Dukes(vocals,guitar) & Kevin Smith(lead guitar) in high school. They played for about a year until Eric moved back to Cali, but Brett & Kevin promised to follow once they finished high school. In 1998, along with original bassist Cory Like, the boys headed to L.A. where , for the next few years, they would write, record, and jam. In 2003, Cory was replaced by Dean Smith(bass), from Washington state. Dean quickly learned the bands' dozens of songs and also joined up in the songwriting process. Desirable Sun now regularly plays the southern California scene with their unique style of rock music. The band shows their influences in so many ways, it's sometimes hard to classify. Hard rock, funk rock, classic rock, grunge rock, acoustic rock, molten volcanic rock, all kinds of rock are fused into one sound. Covering all sides of the spectrum, Desirable Sun can appeal to all fans of rock'n'roll.
