I'm a kiwi actor/singer in New Zealand and I always knew this album was recorded before it's time. In fact, one reviewer said just that .... David Gapes @ the New Zealand Herald. So it is now being offered to the world .... very much an offering because it is dedicated to a peaceful planet, and we are getting closer and closer to that in spite of outward appearances.
I had been working with these musicians and song writers for years in concerts and cafes and one year we were offered a cancellation in Harlequin Studios in Auckland City and we grabbed it. 9 a.m. till 12 midnite for 2 weeks and all for $2,000. A GIFT!
The songwriters produced their own tracks and I was 'allowed' to go and have a sing now and again. It was a lovely democratic, creative process and we finished mixing the album at 5 a.m. on that year's Christmas morning. The songs are indeed as fresh as a Moving Breeze - which to my mind is a planet earth evergreen song yet to be discovered. At the moment this is the only place to buy it.
I think that listening to these songs is like choosing between instant coffee and taking the time to grind the beans and make the coffee in your favbourite way .... it takes time.
