The members of HGB come from a variety of Tampa Bay, Florida area churches. We are not allied with any particular denomination.

Our musical experience comes from the Christian music industry, the Secular music industry, as well as contemporary Christian praise and worship. We have professional experience in performance and recording.

We are family oriented and all engagements are considered family events.

We have been performing as Higher Ground Band since 1995 and have played at many church sponsored area events, some of which include:

The World Famous Salvation Saloon Traveling Gospel Show. It's church in a bar! We've played for them at Bourbon Street Night Club, Quaker Steak & Lube and Rock Harbor Club.
