âIllusions of MEâ, is a Chicago-based Rock band bringing together the talents of Alison Meyers and Brian Ericson. Formed in April of 2007, âIllusions of MEâ brings together the strong, hard-hitting lyrics and songwriting of Alison Meyers, while highlighting the deep and cutting edge vocal tones of Brian Ericson.

Brian Ericson is, by no means, a stranger to the music scene. Starting at age 8, he quickly learned the ups and downs of the business. To date his credits include worldwide releases (Dementia, Morta Skuld, War Cry) with many bands topping the charts in Poland and Germany. He has written and produced music behind highlights for FOX sports and commercials for Red Bull. He has had numerous placements in film, commercials, and television for different agencies. Brian plays all stringed instruments and keys as well as writing, producing, and belting out vocals for the best of them.

Alison Meyers has been songwriting for over ten years. An honors graduate from the Art Institute of Atlanta, Alison had the opportunity to work for several studios. Credits include Doppler Studios and D.A.R.P. Studios in Atlanta, and Metropolis Music Complex in Chicago. She was the videographer for, Atlanta-based band, Naked Dawg, and Keyboard Tech/Roadie for, Chicago-based band, Libido Funk Circus. Over the years, she has had the opportunity to work with artists such as Monica, George Clinton, STYX, and the Screaming Trees, just to name a few. Alison plays guitar, keys, and drums, as well as, writing, producing, and engineering. She is the President of AM Ready Entertainment, a video and audio production company, located in Chicago.
