Self released, Johnnie Burtonâs first album garnered rave indie press in the US and UK and received airplay on over 180 college radio stations across the US and Canada earning Johnnie a spot performing at last yearsâ LA Warped Tour show at Dodger Stadium. Her sexy, driving performances captured in her indie video âHello Loverâ have played in over 2000 retail stores across the US including Footlocker. Still unsigned, Johnnie Burtonâs music and video have attracted nearly 20,000 fans on Myspace.

A prolific songwriter, Johnnie Burtonâs new release âHoney & Bloodâ follows close on the heels of her first album adding producer Adam Moseley (Roxette, The Cure, and Nikka Costa) to her team along with guest performances by Nick Oliveri (from Queens of The Stone Age) and Danny McGough (from Social Distortion).

Recently, multi-platinum producer, 3x Grammy winner Narada Michael Walden by chance walked in on Johnnieâs mastering session at Bernie Grundman. So impressed was Walden by Johnnieâs songs and voice that he offered to produce her on the spot. Currently Johnnie is in the studio with Walden writing and recording tracks soon to be released.
