It all started with Hank Marvin and 'Apache' - I got a friend to play this to death for me when I was still in short pants...and that's where the desire to play guitar came from, and probably why I have gravitated to instrumental music.

I played in local bands doing mostly covers with a fair degree of success, and then Joe Satriani came along and made me realise that there was still plenty of life in instrumental music. A favourable review in 'Home and Studio Recording' lead me to upgrade my home studio and a first CD was born "Living in 10 City" a heavy rock influenced album. Local radio airplay followed for some more commercial material in collaboration with a female singer. Since then I have recorded a further 2 CDs, the second "Union" was still based in rock but diversified into more acoustic material.

The most recent "Lighter Shades" takes far more influences from Afrocelts to Jeff Beck to Preston Reed to create a very diverse, melodic offering. The tracks were all written between 2000 and 2007 with the majority of the recording and all the mastering done this year.
