You could argue these points, but the people who REALLY listen and study the art of rap music know that is not the case. But there is a current trend of the same ol' thing that is dominating the scene in rap.
BUT WE ARE HERE TO CHANGE THAT!
So now, in order to break the trend...we had to look outside the box at CHAINLESS ENTERTAINMENT. What was something in rap that had been successful in the past...but has not came back around lately? What could we bring to the table to save our beloved art form, but at the same time give the people something hot...something worth actually BUYING instead of one hot radio single and a bunch of wack songs on the album.
The answer was right under our nose....closer than we thought...and trained to go.

Because the youth in our hoods and in our community don't have a single record that has been released in the last 5 to 8 years that is actually geared towards them, the shorties. Meanwhile they listen to a lot of music that sounds clean on the radio...but if you heard the unedited version, you know that song was not intended for their ears. So we are here break that trend.
LIL SHANNON's first release, the new EP titled "MISS ALL THAT" is a breath of fresh air for the streets. Indeed the production, quality, lyrics and swag of all the songs are top-notched. LIL SHANNON is raps new phenomenon. With super hot bars full of ear-grabbing punchlines, and hooks so catchy that even the grown folks will know them too, LIL SHANNON will quickly rise to the top of the music industry.
With almost everyone at CHAINLESS being a parent, more percisely, a concerned parent, we understand that until now, every release on our rising independent label has not been for the 18 and under ear. Now if they did have our music, that was a failure on the part of their guardian...we just do what we do and give it how it come to us in life.

But more important, you will love the fact that your shortry's will love some music that you don't have any concerns with buying. Cause let's face it....hip hop is grimey. Its a grimey game full of grimey players. People want to protect thier kids from 90 of the stuff that the average rap artist has had to go through to get that deal....the things he says in his music might not be his walk, or it may be, but rap is about what goes on in the hood daily. So with LIL SHANNON, we took the same principle and applied it to childhood. She gives it you hot enough that the kids will love the songs...but clean enough that the mommas and daddys will actually love that they love this cd!
LIL SHANNON was born in EAST POINT...a southwest side of ATLANTA that has been the point of origin for some of RAPS GREATEST acts like OUTKAST. She moved to the lower southside of Atlanta as she began school to what is now known around the A as Clay-Co. She is what music heads call a born talet, with the ability to come across on the mic as much, MUCH older than her super tender age of 10 years old would suggest.
Once again...we said 10 years old!
So Really, not since LIL WAYNE was introduced with the HOT BOYZ, or JD gave us LIL BOW WOW, or MASTER P GAVE US LIL ROMEO have we had a rap act that is so young in age, but has a swag so grown on the mic, that the adults and kids love them. BUT we had to do it different you see...while rap is a male dominatied game...the females are starving for a representative to stand up and do her thing. AND EVEN MORE, YOUNG GIRLS REALLY BEEN WAITING SO LONG WE FORGOT ABOUT THEM TOTALLY. WHERE IS THE ACT THAT THEY CAN TOTALLY RELATE TO? WHERE?
