Lorilynn has been a singer/songwriter for over thirty years. Her melancholy melodies and thought provoking lyrics have inspired and comforted listeners of all ages. In addition to composing music and singing, Lorilynn is an educational therapist and the owner/operator of Educational Success, a home school/tutorial business. She has been a teacher, administrator, and tutor for 25 years. Lorilynn has special expertise with gifted learners as well as students with learning disabilities. She earned both of her degrees from the University of Michigan and has taught in a variety of schools, both public and private, across the country. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Educational Psychology.
Beyond teaching and song writing, Lorilynn is an accomplished author. She has written three books for teachers: The Writer's Express, Manners That Matter, and Super-Sub, and published several articles as well.
Her primary hobby, apart from her music, is riding jumpers in show jumping competitions on the Southern California Hunter/Jumper Circuit. Many of her students are also equestrians.
Lorilynn's music and lyrics are derived from her rich and varied life which revolves around her animals, her students, and the people who have graced her path, many of whom have been her Avatars.
