"Every once in a while, an album crosses your path that totally hooks you in from the first few moments and doesnât let you go until the whole thingâs finished. This album is one of those masterpieces. I was singing along to these songs by the time they had hit the second chorus⦠and that was on the first listen. The Mainliners are from Sweden and this is their second full length and I gotta tell you, I canât praise this enough. It makes you feel really good about life. Like youâre smiling from ear to ear. Youâre happy, youâre remembering why life is really fucking good, and youâre in love, although with what, it doesnât matter. This kind of feeling is welcomed and thereâs not enough of this in todayâs mainstream music. Itâs either depressing or itâs simply just throwaway puppets on a string played tripe. Well thank god for the indieâs. Crusher Records have found a winner in these guys and I hope you track this down by all means cos youâd be missing out if you donât. The easiest way I have found to describe this band is a more melodic and pop version of say The Hives. Those descriptions donât do it justice because the infectious sound on these tunes needs to be heard to be believed. Right from the opening sweet sounds of âOliviaâ right through to the epic finale, âEveryday Sonâ, this has quickly become one of my favorite albums this year. The worldâs best kept secret needs to finally be revealed, sorry guys, cos this is fucking awesome!"
