She was born in Montreal and began studying the piano and oboe before taking up the harpsichord with Feruccio Vignanelli in Rome and then with Kenneth Gilbert in Montreal at the Conservatoire de Musique et dâArt Dramatique. She was the winner of three European prestigious harpsichord competitions in Bruges (Belgium), Paris and Munich. As a Canda Council grant recipient she participated in two films for the French radio network and performed in major networks in Europe and North America, including a pereformance in Carnegie hall. Resident of Vancouver since 1987, she has performed for Vancouverâs Masterpiece Music, Early Music Vancouver, UBCâs Noon-Hour Concerts, Douglas Collegeâs Noon-Hour Concerts, CBCâs Arts National and Westcoast Performance performance. She collaborated with renowned recorder player Horacio Franco in Mexico City and also performed the Bach's Goldberg Variations there. As a member of the Trio Amalie she has been performing locally with cellist Laura Kramer and violinist Jenny Essers since 2004.
