Michael McLeavy was born in Glasgow, Scotland and was with a popular Rock N Roll band that toured Great Britain and Europe. Came to the United States to further career in entertainment and to meet Elvis Presley in person and was fortunate enough to spend the day with him on the set in one of his movies Spinout and backstage at the International Hotel (Hilton) in Las Vegas.
"That's The Way It Was" is uplifting, romantic, foot tapping, and appealing. There is quite a vocal range in some of the numbers and certainly a good musical ear will appreciate. Memories are made of this.
