New Vision, founded in May 1997, is a premier contemporary gospel choir from the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area. Each member, divinely chosen and elected to honor God with his or her vocal talents and gifts of praise & worship, stems from various religious affiliations and upbringings, but they each bring their own individual uniqueness to the vibrant sound New Vision possesses overall.

New Vision has performed all genres of music, in classical and commercial settings. They have been blessed to travel across the country ministering alongside various National Recording Artists such as Dorinda Clark-Cole, Byron Cage, J. Moss, New Direction, Dr. Charles Fold & the Charles Fold Singers, Pastor Rodney Posey and William âBootsyâ Collins. New Vision has also performed background vocals for the legendary Tramaine Hawkins during the 1st Annual âI Hear Music In The Air, Inc.â Conference.

In 2003, the Lord redirected and repositioned the choir to move beyond the ordinary. He divinely chose John Cobbins, Lee Harvey, Leonard Hunt and Phillip Summers to seek refuge in Him for the up building of His kingdom. Then, God sent Reginald Johnson, an anointed choir director and musician to assist within the music ministry. Reginald became more than just another choir director and musician; he became the musical director for New Vision. This move into leadership was a feasible task to be completed because of Reginaldâs willingness to submit to the will of God.

For New Vision, this was marvelous news because it was surely a complete manifestation of the Lordâs doing. Now under new leadership and new musical direction, the Lord continues rule and reign, consistently revealing Himself and His mighty works over and over again within the refreshing ministry of New Vision.

On the evening of September 24, 2005, the Lord saw fit for the ministry of New Vision to be unveiled with the local release of their debut album âNew Vision presentsâ¦FIREâ. On this glorious night, longtime fans and supporters, as well as family and friends came from near and far to âexperience the fireâ for themselves, live and unplugged. This groundbreaking album is packed with edgy, contemporary gospel infused with traditional styles complimented by the groupâs immaculate vocal prowess in their unique harmonies and heartfelt lyrics that are deeply rooted in the only true and living Word of God. âFIREâ is an astounding project that features all original music from New Visionâs Musical Director, Reginald Johnson, and other choir members - Lee Harvey and Jerome Johnson, Jr. It also features music connoisseur Roman Johnson (uncle of Reginald Johnson) of Los Angeles, CA and guest vocalists Pastor Rodney Posey, Pamela Crumbley, Michael Stuckey and Bishop Bobby Hilton. The album is sure to quickly burn up the charts!!
