The Shivers are a 5 piece band out of NYC. The band members are:
Joanne Schornikow- piano/vocals
Ben Jones- bass
Will Martina- cello
Evan Pazner- drums
Keith Zarriello- guitar/vocals
The sound is a mix of rock, soul, jazz, blues and folk with bits of r&b, hip hop and experimental music.
The band has released 2 full length albums, 2004's "CHARADES" (Independently Released) and 2006's PHONE CALLS (Outerborough Records). The band is currently unsigned. The band performed at 2006's SxSW Music Festival in Austin, TX. The Shivers perform regularly around NYC and are about to undertake a fall tour. The band has recently licensed a song for a feature film in the UK. Some relevant press is below:
