The Telluride based recording project and band âSkyblueâ along with their debut CD entitled âRestore Our Worldâ was nominated on Sept 5th for best album of the year in the alternative instrumental music category.
Alan Bradbury, songwriter, producer, and guitarist describes the music as progressive jazz chord arrangements and instrumentation, overlaid upon a bluesy foundation, with New Age melodies and some tasty rock guitar licks added for good measure.

Itâs music from the hearts of some very well known and established players, which includes members and former members of Carole King, Dave Matthews, Dan Fogelberg, Airitio, Richie Cole, Dizzy Gillespie, Peter Kater and other headliner bands.

The music is inspiring and uplifting, new and refreshing, and can be enjoyed again and again.

All but four piano tracks (which were recorded in San Francisco) were recorded at Alanâs solar powered studio outside of Telluride, which may explain the musicâs warm and positive qualities.
