Dan Leigh, a 22-year-old singer/songwriter from College Station, Texas, got a break in early 2003 when Scott Mathews, a Grammy-winning producer who has produced John Hiatt and John Wesley Harding to name a few, heard his demo and wanted to produce him. The result is The Shortest Life, recorded at Scott's TikiTown Studio and released on Dan's own label. This is mood music, but it is equally song-oriented. Check out Dan's website at
