Steve Schriemer was a piano student for four years when he decided he wanted to learn the guitar. Picking it up quickly, he taught himself how to play on his older brotherâs Fender acoustic and by the age of 16 he began his career as a singer/songwriter. With a passion for music Steve thinks that songs should be fun, but he also thinks they should be thoughtful. âDemos Volume Oneâ is Steveâs first album release, which he wrote during his last two years of high school. Steve says, âAs all the technology in the music industry gets more advanced, I think we get too enamored with the effects. Fancy equipment is helpful, but it can make us lose sight of what is really important in music. I think that people have a need for genuine and honest songs, that is why I write what I write.â
