The band, Supernatural Disaster, formed sometime around 2005-2006. However, the members have been playing together since about 1999 Originally playing in a high school metal band out of the small town of Oneida, Tennesseee, most of the members (plus Dylan) regrouped in Nashville and Murfreesboro, TN, to form what is now Supernatural Disaster. While the genre is no longer metal, influences are still drawn from several genres of music ranging from Classic Rock, Jazz, Bluegrass, Metal, Alternative Rock, Stoner Rock, Psychadelia, and Folk - just to name a few. The band believes that musical diversity is important because it does not wish to be stylistically confined in any way. The primary songwriter is Stephen Phillips, who plays guitar, piano, and sings. The other members are currently Josh Ayers on bass guitar, Leo Taylor on drums, and Dylan Ayers on percussion. Having known each other for most of their lives, there is a certain chemistry that exists among them that is difficult to find with other bands.
