THE WITNESS, one of the finest original soul dub acts to join the Australian music scene in the last year. The project has been two years in the making and the seductive, critically acclaimed debut EP was launched in mid 2007.

The Witness promises a pumping live show with heavy grooves, throbbing dance numbers and a seductive line up. The band draws from soul, RnB and dub styles and unites them within a progressive live delivery.

The project is the lovechild of core members Benjamin Karsay (Cyberbas, Mystic Beats, Mission Ignition, Groove Dalley) and Carla Versitano (Morph, Dubshack, Cyberbas, Gooch Smuggler, Aurora Jane).

The pair has recently returned to the North Coast after a busy national and international touring schedule in 2006-7. Already, The Witness is gaining momentum and a reputation for their distinctive sounds of lushness and honesty. Don't miss their intoxicating live show - you will move and be moved.
