Details:
After working together at Harry's Guitar Shop in Raleigh NC, Terry Dineen and Eric West dabbled in eachother's acoustic projects before joining forces electrically in 2006 as Transistor Sun. Originally, Terry played drums and Eric played guitar but the search for the right bassist proved difficult. Eventually they ran into a fantastic drummer named Eric Weaver and decided to redistribute the instruments accordingly. With Weaver on drums, West decided to hand over guitar duties to Terry, and switched to bass. The trio played its first show on 9/30/2006 at Slim's Downtown Distillery and has been touring regionally ever since. In 2007 the band recorded and released their self-titled debu CD.
