Cee Jay is an artist singer/rapper/producer from Zimbabwe based in the USA. Desperate Measures (2007) is his 2nd cd release having released Screwed,Blued and Tatooed in (2005). The cd release was followed by a promotion tour of UK and US states in May-July 07 and sold a few thousand cds within it first few weeks of release owing to sales at live events. Cee Jay is a very hardworking musician and loves to collabo with other artists hence the presence of Pinnacle,Daddy Kuda, Yvonne Uzande,Samantha Tshuma, E Wize and Agoussi and Rudeboy All Starz on this cd plus incorporated the skills of other producers eg Melvin C of UK and Chris Tolio/Agoussi and Nyasha .This music is also available thru www.myspace.com/ceejaybeatz. The name Desperate Measures is a term used often in Zimbabwe they say"always apply Desperate Measures for Desperate Times"and this is a desperate time for the people of Zimbabwe politically,socially and economically hence Cee Jay encourages personal upliftment,self pride and belief in one s origins in his songs
