The Golden Robot Army is a Seattle-based music and good times collective, flexible in shape and protean in nature. Consisting of up to seven members at any given time and led by ringleader Alexander Malloy, we use a variety of instruments and props to play songs that reflect our love of pop and traditional musics. In a live setting, we try to throw an inclusive musical party that makes all comers feel welcome. We are engaged in an all-out hug-of-war with cynicism, and we believe our wide-eyed, muscular optimism will win out in the end, but one listen to our lyrics will convince you that we know that a little dirt under the fingernails is a good thing. And yes, we know that was a very long sentence. We know things these days look dark, and sometimes life sucks; let us help make it a little brighter!
