2007 INTERNATIONAL CHILD'S WEB AWARD WINNER FOR BEST PRESCHOOL SONG "I WANNA CHIHUAHUA!"

The CD Around and Around, was written in Cupertino and recorded, along with Kitty Vacation, in Santa Cruz California, at Harbor Studio. In Juliette's parent co-op in home preschool, she would sing and write songs spontaneously while caring for her own, and the children in her program. She decided that it would be a good idea to put her story-songs in a recorded form, and that is how this CD came to be. It holds 17 songs that preschoolers, teachers, parents, grandparents and Librarians love. There are songs about the zoo, grandma, bath time safety and of course, the most requested, "I Wanna Chihuahua."

Juliette and her two daughters, Yvette and Alainah, perform in libraries and at small events teaching movement and sign language to her songs. Juliette is working on a curriculum to go along side her CD's. She is also finishing up her third CD, It's A Brand New Day, that is being produced and recorded in the California Redwoods in the Woodside Mountains.

Bio: Juliette McDonald, Cupertino, California -- 15 Years as a Homeschooling Mom of an early graduate, Alainah McDonald, and mother to Yvette McDonald, Master of English and ESL teacher. Juliette is also an author, song writer, singer, recording artist, performer, Laurel Springs Independent Studies Program Correspondent teacher, curriculum design specialist, tutor, teacher/owner of Little Bloomers In-home Preschool and Children's Art and Music classes. She has been committed to working with children and parents for the past 35 years. Juliette has completed intense studies in child development, with a strong influence on art and music. She has written Borrowed Recipes for Exploratory Arts, Volumes I, II and III., parent co-op art books. Juliette has written and recorded her first two children's CD's, Around and Around, and Kitty Vacation, and she is now working on her third CD, It's A Brand New Day, soon to be released.
