A native New Englander, Keith was born in Shapleigh, Maine. Keith's musical interest was encouraged at an early age. His older brother Raymond, was becoming an accomplished musician with the harmonica early on. At age eleven Keith picked up his first harmonica and never looked back. Being a shy man Keith chose to play
in solitude for many years, continually developing his skills before folks knew he was a musician.

Keith held a desire within him that constantly drove him to learn and practice the harmonica. He began to play with his younger brother Gordon gradually his talent was recognized by area musicians and eventually became a featured musician.

Keith's military buddies in Korea encouraged him and he entertained the troops throughout his tour of duty. Upon returning home, Keith began to play with area musicians professionally. His name and talent became synonymous with quality performances.

At the encouragement of his wife Ann and fellow musicians, Keith was invited to record harmonica tracks on an album for Paul Main. Paul recognized Keith's talent immediately. Paul insisted that Keith record an instrumental for inclusion in the album. Needless to say, Keith's first studio experience was most successful.

Inspired and encouraged, Keith recorded his first album LOOKING BACK. Anyone who hears the album will appreciate his mastery of the harmonica and his soulful performance.

Keith performs with the Lonesome Highway Band and continues to be in demand for studio work.
