Just ask any hometown Beach Music fan in South Carolina and they'll tell you all about how the popular shag is the official State dance or how Beach Music continues to merge the famous beach, boogie & blues sound with other famous names like General Johnson's Chairman Of The Board & The Temptations. The appeal of this music continues to sell not only locally, but worldwide as well.

This album also features an emotionally charged guitar jam by Beach Music guitarists, David Goodman & Jordan Lee. The spontanious improv of Amazing Grace goes on for six minutes and fifty-one seconds of pure & powerful guitar drama! THE ORIGINAL BEACH MUSIC BAND BIO

Back in the early to mid 1960's when some of the best Beach Music bands were gracing the airways with songs like 'Double Shot Of My Baby's Love' and 'Soulfinger' - other regional groups from the Carolina's like Second Nature, The Mystics & Marice William's Zodiacs were all enjoying above-average popularity...

By 1966 a major new band was established and came out swinging. The Swinging Persuations of Columbia, South Carolina quickly gained a reputation one of the best new Beach Music bands from South Carolina.

The Swinging Persuations was founded by guitar player/promoter, Dan Kirby, and included some of the finest musicians ever assembled in the history of Beach Music...The group broke up in 1967, with only a few memories remaining, but the music never died.

ABOUT THE MUSIC
Today Original Beach Music Band leader, Kirby, continues to write new songs such as is contained in this collection. Kirby has a renewed interest in the Beach Music sound and plans to release more blues guitar songs with that 1960's-style format soon.
