That's right, the year is soon over...and America will quickly turn another page in history starting with a midnight toast and music played deep into the night from coast to coast.

American music unlike almost anywhere else is a melting pot of styles...Therefore we've gathered a small but hearty selection of songs from a variety of American cities including Chicago, New York, the East Coast and of course, New Orleans to produce a muli-variety selection of popular American music aimed at getting your party started right!

Although the music may differ in culture, every song has one common goal, namely, to create a festive New Year's Eve atmosphere suitable for the most variable party - after all, New year's Eve is THE party event of the year, and nothing jump-starts an event like great music.

From New York's Times Square jazz to New Orlean's cajun-style, to East Coast Beach music, the songs are both mellow enough as well as hot enough to ignite the most somber of situations into a dance-floor mega event. For example, just Try sitting still to the 'Rocking East Coast Blues', as if that's even possible!

The countdown is coming right up, and again, America will celebrate in Times Square. Voices will rise to sing Auld Lang Syne across national time zones, New Year's Eve resolutions will be renewed. It's all part an all American New Year's Eve...
