8 MP3 Songs
JAZZ: Jazz Vocals, FOLK: Folk Blues
Details:
Alison Faith Levy is one of San Francisco's most exciting and versatile young singer/songwriters. She has fronted her own group, played piano with the Loud Family and written film scores. Her most recent CD of original work is My World View.
She also has a great love for and affinity with jazz, country and blues standards like the ones she performs on this EP length CD.
Dale Miller began recording in the mid 1970s on Kicking Mule Records, a small but extremely prestigious and influential company that specialized in solo guitar LPs. He was their best selling American based artist. In the early 1980s he stopped most touring and became part owner of a San Francisco Guitar Shop. He sold his share in 2000 and has begun gigging and recording more.
As a frustrated singer, he has always enjoyed working with vocalists.
Though 25 years apart in age the two artists have nearly identical tastes when it comes to vocal/guitar efforts.
