Bruce and Colin got together to play live acoustic original music based on their major influences: the blues, the tropics, southern beaches and surf, women, dolphins, sailboats, and guitars. And did I mention women?

The live acoustic shows were expanded when the CD was recorded. To make the songs even more interesting, electric guitars, bass guitar, percussion, harmonica and lots of harmonies were incorporated. All the instrumental and vocal parts are performed by Bruce and Colin with no ringers or studio musicians. Not that we would have minded if Paul had played a little bass or Roger had added some jangle, but that was not to be... maybe next time.

Lone Palm Tree takes you to exotic places like the Caribbean, like the Bahamas, like the left coast of Florida, even Chicago, Texas, and England.

So pour a Kalik or an Anchor Steam, mix a Pina Colada if that's what it takes, and let the Blue Island Beer Club conjure up a desert island with a Lone Palm Tree.
