SolyMar* was born and raised on the streets of Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. As a child the native Brooklynite used to dream of becoming a fixture in the music industry. With songs coming from her heart she started writing while still in High School. She won a literary award and decided that writing was her second passion to singing.
SolyMar* started her music career with R&B in 1993 when she met her manager who guided her through vocal coaching. Creating her own sense of style, she learned how to use her vocal ability and started to write songs in collaboration with Hopetown Records. Shortly after developing her writing skills she recorded Jazz R&B tracks like âCanât You Seeâ and âIn The Cityâ through Ripleez Entertainment. Then one day, while working on a âneosoulâ Jazz project she met Producer Henry Maldonado and discovered her newly found passion: House Music.
Her first House track, âSunshineâ was released by MAW Records. The second release featuring SolyMar*, titled âI See The Lightâ exposed her enough to be invited to perform at the 2003 Winter Music Conference in Miami. Since then, House tracks featuring SolyMar* include âAll I Needâ, âInner Musicâ and âControl Meâ released by Next Dimension Music. Several tracks have appeared on compilation CDs and in many House mixes by DJs throughout the world.
SolyMar* now joins BHTC Music with her experience in writing and outstanding vocal technique. House music to be released by BHTC Music awaits her deep and sensual style when recording a track. Without doubt her confidence and skill enables her to tackle all projects within the genre.

Born in Brooklyn to Cuban parents, Dave Perez has listened to a wide range of music all his life. As a child, listening to Mambo and Salsa taught him to appreciate the different sounds that captivate the soul and beats that move the body. As an adolescent music and mixed cassette tapes were the priority over Brooklyn street life. When he attended college, mixing music at fraternity parties had him spinning records until a handful of people were left. After college he moved the crowd on Thursday nights at Club Ivy (old China Club) with pumping House music leading into the early stages of Trance until 5:00AM. For a few years, while mixing at lodge functions and private parties, he was able to try his own music on the crowd and release an LP album. His past monthly residency at âThe Pearl Roomâ in Brooklyn, New York has brought a new wave of interest on the local level.
The debut release of the LP âCarry US Throughâ has placed Dave Perez and BHTC Music in the spotlight. Arranged and produced by Dave Perez, the LP brings an assortment of Hard House and Trance. The controversial track âHipHop Is Deadâ made a bold statement among the New York music industry when it charted #42 on a record pool chart. âRhythm Trackâ also placed on a record pool chart while it was played and continues to be played on the radio in Australia along with âCarry US Throughâ (Noise Mix).
The release of the compilation CD titled âIndustrial Strengthâ by BHTC gained popularity when the single âDonât Bother Meâ by Dave Perez featuring Nadya ranked #13 with Northwest Dance Music Association. Tracks like âThe Child Is Goneâ and âGive Me Moreâ gained interest in the United Kingdom.
Dave Perez has been mixing the hottest Trance and House tracks. His music sets vary from Classic House to Modern Trance. Whether mixing his own tracks or those of other of DJs, the blend of music gives you a taste from each continent. Selecting music from each DJ throughout the world, his track lists take you through a journey of euphoria, harmony and pulsating energy.
