With this recording I leaned in a Organic/Sci Fi direction. My goal was to create a cross between the futuristic and the ancient. Several of the instuments I play are from the distant past and then I round out things with modern state of the art analog and digital gear. I use layers to sort of push and pull at your subconscious allowing the listener to relax and at the same time be exposed to images and feelings released from down inside. I believe music is the most powerful healing tool available in that certain notes against certain beats can trigger things waiting in your psyche. I use many textures to surround and enfold the day to day mind set and slightly disassemble it. When this process works its usually because you are in a relaxed setting and are open to letting in something new to find something new within you. As with all my ambient recordings many people have told me my music helps them deal with all types of pain and many parents have told me children become quiet and relaxed. Yoga practitioners and massage therapist along with modern dance troupes or just people who like to get up early or stay up late have all given me wonderful feed back. I hope you enjoy it too.
