Rhoades is a musical veteran who has played drums behind Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis, The Platters and too many other names to list. Material from his the recordings have been performed and/or recorded by The Outlaws, musicals and films. He led the 70's cult theatrical/musical group, The Hahavishnu Orchestra before traveling on the road to play drums with Muscle Shoals session man Eddie Hinton and others.
Rhoades material has been favorably compared to the likes of Frank Zappa, The Fugs, The Tubes to name a few.
Rhoades has been featured in Rolling Stone, Playboy magazines as well as The Village Voice and many other publications. His material has been played many times on syndicated radio shows such as The Dr. Demento Show and John Boy & Billy.
