This is Gerry's first offering of his honest songs about life, love, and art. His self-proclaimed "story-songs" come straight from the heart and will reach out and grab you from the first "1979" about first love to the harsh "Love of Convenience" about lost love to his ode to the town of Austin.
In the vein of Guy Clark or Lyle Lovett, fellow Texans, the fingerpicking acoustic guitar work is melodic accompanied by some fine musicians to round out the songs.
At times straight forward and yet at times veiled and introspective. A good listen.
