There is a moment between twilight and dusk - a half life of shadows - that if you listen carefully with your heart, you can hear the desert whisper the names and stories of those who have passed this way throughout time.

A Yaqui Shaman teaches us that we can only truly see with our eyes wide shut. In that same spirit, if you close your ears to the world around you and redirect your musical perception inward, new possibilities can awaken.

Glen Spreen has over 100 credited performances as an arranger, producer, conductor and musician for many top artists. In one notable role, Glen arranged 3 songs that helped Elvis make his legendary comeback - Kentucky Rain, Suspicious Minds, and In the Ghetto.

In addition to Elvis, some of the artists Glen has worked with include Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, B.J. Thomas, Dan Fogelberg, Wayne Carson, Dave Loggins, Jose Feliciano, Johnny Mathis, John Hiatt and the Flying Burrito Brothers - just to name a few.

After a life time of creating pop hits that have become household names for a generation, Taos Skies is a musical vision quest of instrumental songs composed and performed by Glen Spreen.
