Johnny began his professional career in the United States 1986 where he regularly appeared at the trendy night clubs in and around Los Angeles, CA. In 1990 he recorded his first album, De piel a cuerpo. The album, produced in LA, included Johnny's first hit single, Amiga. He continued to record in Los Angeles until moving to Nashville in 1999........ Over the years Johnny Vasquez has continued to delight audiences with his silky smooth voice and is exquisite delivery of his trademark, Latin love songs like; Por Favor, Solitario, Amiga and Este Amore............................... In June of 2006 Johnny signed with TRA-STAR Entertainment/BMJ Nashville on its new Latin Division.
