Jones (22) - young, talented Bernese singer and songwriter, not only composes and arranges his own songs, but also records and plays them all by himself. His first solo album âfor the love ofâ¦â â released march 17th 2006 - is a musical piece of evidence of his top-quality selfmade work.

Jones impresses with his great musical talent and his outstanding selfmade qualities, as not only his manifold voice but as well all the greatly played instrumental parts of his music are a result of his outstanding talent and enthusiasm as a singer and musician.

For the last two years, Jones - former member (composer/musician) of the successful Bernese band âHolixâ, has been focusing on his solo project âfor the love ofâ¦â.
His first solo work is a balanced and well succeeded composition of soulful ballads and capturing dance grooves within Soul/Rock tradition, in short a listening experience which includes a wide range: from total introversion to absolute ecstasy.
Originality is not missing too: whether water glasses or other things, sound curious and inquiring Jones uses all kinds of objects to create new and innovative sounds and grooves.

For this project, in addition to the album, the radio single âfor the love ofâ¦â and the videoclip, a liveband for concert touring around Switzerland has been put together.

With Jones, a young, promising talent appears on the stage of the Swiss music scene of whom you havenât heard for the last time: look and see!
