Juba Lion, born Clive Harvey, August 10th, 1959, Got involved in various youth clubs namely Sample and Kintyre Youth Clubs during his studies at Papine High School in St. Andrew, Jamaica. Here he began to develop his talent and passion for singing with help of the youth foundation known as Social Development Commission (SCD).

After graduating in 1977, Juba Lion learned the wicker trade working in various furniture shops during the days. On weekends he sang on local sound systems such as the Upsetters, King Mosso, Roots Majestic and Players International. It was at these dances where his majestic and melodic voice earned him recognition and the admiration of fans. Juba Lion made his debut performance at Kings Theatre in Kingston with headliners Bob Andy
and Marcia Griffiths, recognized legends in their own right.

In 1987 he migrated to the United States where he continued his musical career. As the lead singer of the Corner Stone Band, he performed all over the Eastern U.S. Venues include New York, Washington, DC, Philadelphia and Connecticut, where his blistering performances kept fans rocking and calling for more!

Teaming with Naphtali Records in 2006, Juba Lion plans to hit the market with release after release of clean, conscious and exiting reggae music for his fans and the worldâs musical satisfaction.
