On January 27,1966,Michael C A Marsh a.k.a "Kane Juice"was born in Dunnsville,St.Ann,on the outskirts of Ocho Rios.He is the ninth of ten children, born to Inez and Lorrel Marsh. Raised between Patrick City,Duhaney Park,Pembroke Hall and the surrounding areas of Kingston 20,he's watched his mother the primary bread winner, juggle between selling at the market and taking care of 10 children. Kane Juice whom was no stranger to tough times, at age 15 took a job sewing Soccer balls on contract basis for "Sports and games", a sporting goods outlet downtown Kingston. Kane Juice whom have had to overcome the deaths of two of his brothers at the hands of the police for which no substancial reasons have yet been furnished,has also had to deal with the deaths of numerous friends and colleagues. Kane Juice has embarked on a journey to fight the elements that have plagued him and the families and friends of victims within these inner-city communities.

Like many other artists,the likes of Bob Marley,Dennis Brown, Peter Tosh, just to name a few. Reggae has given him the opportunity to share his experiences and thoughts with the intention to comfort,enlighten and inspire the Majority, if not all the youths within such areas globally. Kane Juice started his singing career while attending Jamaica College. After very warm response,when he performed at his school's concert, he started persueing his singing career. Prior to this concert performance,he wanted to become a comedian. In 1985, Kane Juice had his first single released on the HarryJohnson"HarryJ" label. entitled,Ghetto Tenament Yard Kane Juice have had his share of singing on sound-systems, like King jammys and Love Vibration, to name a few. He has also worked as a resident singer in some of our major hotels in the north and westend of the Island.

Since then he has recorded a number of songs including "Never Keeping Secrets" a cover version of Baby Face's single:the song ended up in position 22 on the top 100 reggae hits for 1994. Kane Juice was nominated "best Male Vocalist" in the 'famika Awards of 1995, and again in 1996. Being one of 8 surviving children for his parents, he considers himself fortunate And as such, plans to utilize his opportunities to the fullest and continue to strive for greater heights.
