The Kings of Babylon are a group of seasoned musicians with extensive studio and touring experience in the U.S. and Europe. The band's lineup was conceived and made a reality in 2005, after Syracuse native David Fibiger returned to Central New York and contacted his long time band mate and songwriting partner, Mark Cole, to help develop the concept and direction for a new original recording/touring project. Plans for the band came to together quickly and musical ideas started to take shape for the project soon to be called âThe Kings of Babylonâ.

Dave and Markâs writing and guitar work laid the foundation for an extremely edgy and uniquely alternative rock sound. Nearly 20 new songs were written before Phil Norman and Greg âCreamoâ Liss were brought in to lay down the drum and bass tracks for the CD, respectively. Creamo had recently come off the road after extensive recording and touring with Joe Bonamassa, and his ideas and creative bass playing made an immediate impact on the sonic integrity of the songs. The project then moved swiftly from the pre-production stage straight into the recording process at Honey Hush Productionsâ project studio in Central New York along the north shore of Oneida Lake. The Kings of Babylon wrapped up recording and final mixing in May 2007. Nineteen tracks made the final cut and were Mastered by two-time Grammy nominated Mastering Engineer, Erick Labson at Universal Mastering Studios in Los Angeles. As The Kings of Babylon get ready to release their new CD in the Fall of 2007, drummer Lenny Milano, who previously toured with Creamo in Bonamassa's band and with Bloodlines, has signed on for touring in support of the CD.
