In 1990 David Andrews co-created Portland-based CALOBO with long-time friend Caleb Klauder(Foghorn Stringband). CALOBO would eventually become known as one of the largest-drawing and best-selling independent touring acts in the country. Between the cracks of an average 250 shows a year in the mid-nineties, David found time to write these four "pop-smart gems" and record them with friends Gregg Williams(Sheryl Crow, Dandy Warhols) playing the drums, George Mitchell from Diana Ross Band on the keys and guitar-phenom jazz-master Dan Balmer(Tom Grant Band) playing guitar. Some more of Portland's finest musicians contributed to this 4-song EP, which would find it's way to the top of three Northwest Top 20 sales charts in the first month of its' release!!!!

"The Little Things" has been out of print for over a year now but David's new label, EastSound Records, has decided to re-release the EP because of its' timeless musicality and the fact that it is an essential addition to the David Andrews collection.

"...a shimmering collection of material from a promising songwriter with a long, glorious future ahead of him." The Music Box Los Angeles, CA.
