* When David was 17, he was introduced to Leon Russell in Tulsa and spent many hours at Shelter Records, playing guitar and absorbing the recording industry from Eric Clapton, J.J. Cale, George Harrison, and Gary Busey
* Influenced at an early age by John Lennon, John Fogerty, and Elvis Presley
* Obtained a one year license from (John Fogerty) in 1985 to perform a C.C.R. tribute show
* In the 80's and 90's, David toured with Peter Frampton, Beach Boys, Mountain, Little River Band, Head East, 38 Special, April Wine and the list goes on and on
* In the 80's when Eric Clapton fired his entire Tulsa based band, they came home to Tulsa and joined David's band
