About Major Leagz

Major Leagz is a hip hop group from Montreal founded in 1999 starring the artists on canadian label "LEGREAT ENTERTAINMENT".

The four MC's, Sonny Stylez, John Doe, Skillus, and Parano each have a unique style and flavor that, when combined, offer a sound that has everything to satisfy true and casual fans of the hip hop culture.

With it's billingual members (a reflection of Montreal city's reality) the group creates and performs songs in both English and French and uses that asset to it's advantage. A sign of it's great versatility, "DA MAJA" produces certain projects aimed at the world wide anglophone market while others are specifically made for french speaking consumers.

Sonny Stylez, the brains behind Legreat entertainment is the founder of the group. His versatile style and flows showcases his easy going and party starting personality that although a bit narcisstic at times, hides a more humble and thougthful MC.

John doe & Skillus are two of the anglophone MC's of the ML movement and form the rap duo "Double Eye". Their street hip hop, raw but intelligent is particularly enjoyed by fans of "underground" rap music.

Parano, proud francophone, has a rather funny and quirky style. His humorous vibe sometimes overshadows his more serious, socially aware views and rhymes, that are a big part of his art.
