Naim Satya, a prominent Bay Area jazz musician, has often lent his talents to more spiritually-oriented music, having composed background music for yogic practices, shamanic and meditative practices. This particular CD was created with a Japanese flute and Koto (a traditional string instrument) in mind, even though these instruments are played by an electric keyboard the feel of authenticity can be felt in the final product that Naim is offering.
