Daze of Venus has been composing, performing, and recording modern rock music since 1995. They originally formed in New Orleans, Louisiana as "Venus Envy". Combining an alternative rock style with an edge, while remaining melodic enough to be radio friendly is a signature of this band. As experienced songwriters, Daze of Venus' lyric content and reflections are inclined to include a full range of emotions and subject matter, including wisdom, heart, love, anger, bitterness, and passion. All four members participate in business and creative processes through strong group collaboration.  They have been steadily performing live shows since the first songs were born. Later the band expanded to other live venues on the North Shore and in the regional south. Daze of Venus has received local radio airplay from 106.7, The End and 94.7, Extreme Radio. However, the most rewarding experience has been the recent release of their self-titled CD on RPMS Records. Fans of helping those in need, this band enjoys performing at charity benefits as time permits in their busy work schedule.
