Details:
The Rowland Brothers are personal friends of H. G. Wells, who borrowed his time machine one weekend and came to the future to see what it was like ... err, would be like. En route, they stole riffs from all the top bands they happened to pass along the way ⦠so they'd have a good leg up with their music when they landed in the present. Logical and perceptive would you not agree?

They especially liked The Beatles, The Stones, a certain Mr. Hendrix ... and later (well, years to you -- minutes to them) decided to round out their, ahem, âthieveryâ from groups like The Police and Dire Straits â rather enjoying the irony, I might add. They totally avoided the heavy-metal/glam-rock bands they ran across âat a later timeâ ⦠finding them rather vulgar and undignified.

On one of their âsideâ trips backwards in time, they cunningly stole some biotechnology implants from Atlanteans â¦to facilitate breathing underwater. Now they do all their mixing in a large underwater tank, because the sound waves are denser and it gives their tracks a heavier, âwetterâ sound. Ingenious really. There are several photos of them frolicking about in their aqueous studio that you might enjoy looking at (as proof indeed) on their album booklet... (should you experience doubts as to the verity of these statements, youâll probably wish to visit their website ... and you will indeed be amazed as was I, to be sure)

I'm very honored to say that Broz Rowland is a personal friend of mine ... oh, but sorry, Iâm afraid I can't say who I am ... as it might get back to Mr. Wells, you see ... or the American CIA ... any of which might unfortunately engender entirely unamusing consequences for all of us. And my associate Nikola would not be amused to learn of tampering with his wires. Sorry.

But do enjoy their music ... and I would encourage you to purchase it â¦it's really quite good ... (and has won some significant awards Iâm told) ⦠oh, and I've recently received word that Broz has made several stops back into the 80s and 90s "depositing" some new â well âolderâ â material into those periods, which may yet emerge (at CD Baby) in time. (wink wink)

You canât really blame them ⦠The Rowland Brothers ⦠I mean cavorting across space-time like banshees ⦠as they figure â and I would have to agree â they have âall the time in the worldâ ⦠to get the machine back at the precise moment they borrowed it!

Mind you, explaining the graying hair might be a problem ⦠but then you have clever things for that here in the future ⦠err, present ⦠nâest pas? But I hardly think Mr. Wells will even notice ⦠as he seems quite in a fog these days ⦠um ⦠those days ⦠back in their fu ⦠nevermind.

Righto then ⦠I'm off to see the Wizard!

No, not Dorothyâs friend ⦠the other fellow.

Come Watson.
