A chance meeting at a London rehearsal studio led to the birth of Soulcyde. Natz and Toshi realised that they were both passionate about "real" music.

Natz, her love is performing live, she uses every opportunity to empower her audience and says she can set them on fire with excitement and hasn't failed YET!! She writes for Soulcyde and is heavily influenced by raw emotion.

She adores Lenny Kravitz, Chaka Khan, Tina Turner and Al Green. Natz is most proud of the bands nomination at the Orange County Music Awards 2004 (Best International Act) and performing in a short film called Tracy Dark.

When asked about her off stage antics, she cites falling 10ft out of an attic & setting her neighbours shed on fire as "stuff that just happens".

Toshi- Original native to Japan has always been driven by music. He fell in love with the guitar whilst still at school in leafy Suffolk.

His influences include Bootsy Collins, Prince, Sly & Family Stone, EWF, Zapp and Parliament.For a few years he played with Hip-Hop band Def Tex.

He enjoys creating new tracks and is an absolute Reggae fanatic.
He confesses that he's a bit of a practical joker and enjoys winding people up. He's an outdoor sports fanatic who enjoys tree climbing, skating and camping. He enjoys the "magic" that is SoulCyde and lists "rocking Tommy Hillfiger, Regent Street" at the London Cityshow case this year as one of favourite gigs along with raising £3,000 for Oxjam at the Playrooms in London.

Recently, BBC Radio London caught the magic that is Soulcyde live and the switched board was overwhelmed with calls. Interviewed by a very wowed Geoff Schumann who said that "Soulcyde are Britain's best kept secret" he has invited them back later this year as has Gwyneth Wint from BBC Southern Counties Radio.

Soulcyde also have a serious side and are supporters of the charity Keep A Child Alive, for whom they dedicated the proceeds from their record "Heaven Can Wait". The charity looks after children who are HIV/AIDS suffers. Natz says, "it is unbelievable the number of children who equal a generation who have died and we do what we can to help" A sample of this performance can been seen at youtube and will be available on www.soulcyde.com
