Comprised mostly of teenagers with different preferences to musical taste, Steel Polly adds a combination of musical flavor including rock, pop rock, some indie now and then, some alternative, and sometimes, perhaps, whatever sounds good? Steel Polly is a co-ed band featuring 4 females on vocals, drums, guitar, and bass, and 2 males on lead guitar and featured keyboards. Many of the songs they perform are originals composed by members through individual work or collaborations. The band has performed in places such as The Knitting Factory, 8x10, Jammin' Java, and Frazier's on the Avenue, and won 2nd place in the 2007 Seneca Creek Community Church Battle of the Bands.
