Birthed from the back alleys of Lewiston and raised in the sticks of Poland, Maine, Taming The Shrew has since spread themselves thick throughout New England, polluting the minds of the lost with soothing dementia and fresh pastrami sandwiches!

The band formed in 2002 in Lewiston, Maine by Ethan Chaffin (guitar), Mike Curtis (bass), and Jason St. Onge (drums/vocals). They quickly drew up a set of original songs and began playing wherever and whenever they could. Soon after, the decision was made to enlist a front man. Kris Milo was the first name that came to mind, and that's who was ultimately chosen. Kris had been in several popular local bands and was currently looking for a new project. They wasted no time writing new material and setting up more shows.

Not long after Milo joined the band, St. Onge left for personal reasons and was replaced by Brandon Tardif. Milo had worked with Tardif in the past and knew that he had much interest in this project. The chemistry was automatic and Taming the Shrew wrote and recorded this debut album.

Soon after recording, Mike left the band, Brandon moved to bass and new drummer Corey Daggett joined.
