This is my 5th Cd and very special to me since I co-wrote many of these songs with my middle school students when I was a teacher in New York City. They wrote the lyrics and I wrote the music. The children were 13-14 years old and their words were very strong, clear and truthfulfull of imagery and rhyme suitable to write music to. I asked some of them to write the lyrics as if they were writing for a younger child. They succeeded very well. Email me and let mne know what you (or your child) thinks. laurawarfield@aol.com.
